Probes count as object?

Do probes count against object count?

I'm 99% sure they do. It's been a long time since I've built any though (haven't found any anomalies or super aggressive players in 3 full sector sweeps).

Yes, they are ships/objects.

I think the entire cap system needs to be rethought. I don't understand how a probe can equal a dreadnaught in terms of "upkeep".

I don't think it'll ever be an issue. I mean, I can already have 174 vessels at one time, and I don't even have shipyards on all my colonies yet. Your total becomes exponentially larger every time you increase your advanced shipyard tech.

We have to cap it because the server has physical constraints.
