    Anyone able to conquer populated planets on current build?

    I have tried at multiple different planets with different numbers of ships, combinations, ect.. but I am unable to conquer or even begin combat at a planet that has a population???? Anyone else tried this and having this problem or is the whole universe really just a peaceful exchange of mining colonies?
