Ship assignments.

I feel if I tap on a ship you should be able to see it's current harvesting assignment. Why do we have to click on the square next to the planet, then guess which harvester it is?

It's very possible I'm missing something here.

Actually you won't see the harvesting ships flying around in the future.

The icon was put there to sort out which ships had AI orders. That came from the first beta. The issue is that single ships are "grouped" in to a single lump. When you give a command you give the command to a ship type. The AI will then select the type of ship you want that is available, and then it will give the orders to that ship.

In the early days we had listings of singles ships, and they were not grouped. There was really no reason to show 20 probes, 20 harvs, etc in the listing. It was easier to group like ships together, since they all have the same function.

In the future the only way to look at AI controlled ships is via the target icon on the left of the planet, or in the ship overview from the top menu.
