    outpost & colony ship objects

    Do outpost and colony ships count against number of ships allowed by shipyard?

    Yes they do. UNTIL they fuse with the planet and create the colony/outpost. Then that ship is no longer counted, as it technically doesn't exist any longer.

    Yes this has been my biggest goof in game.

    Can not build anymore harvesters because of shipyard

    So researching advanced shipyard. Right away
