Latest hotstart broke planet combat?

On Arulu, it seems like it is no longer possible to attack and conquer outposts. Before 4-5 destroyers would take over an outpost without resistance. Now I have a stack of 22 and they're been attacking the same outpost for 8+ hours to no avail.

Yeah, I have the same issue. Move the away from the outpost and you'll probably see what I see, Combat Animation continues, even when no ships are present. I've sent two bug reports regarding this. Hope they fix it soon.

We'll have a look in to it and see what we can find. Please submit a bug report from the system the issue is in. It will provide us with details to make it easier to find. Please include the server you are playing on in the bug report.
