It also makes cloaking mostly useless as a counter to stealth orbitals, as it's a higher tier and takes almost a week to research the first rank on its own, much less the 8 subsequent ranks. By the time you know you NEED it because someone is using stealth orbitals, theres pretty much no piont in bothering to try for it, especially if you haven't already researched in the science tree, as that just adds another week or so to the time it takes to get...
